The Quarantine Art Show
In August of 2020, I opened the doors of my garage-studio in Eagles Mere, PA. I invited the local community to see the paintings I had been working on over the previous year. Though masked and distanced, it was wonderful to see people again and to share my work in person!
I spent the first six months of the pandemic at a family member’s home in rural Pennsylvania. The surrounding forests inspired my college thesis in painting, and I enjoyed having the ability to paint on location. I explored abstracting the landscape further while retaining the feelings and memories of the enviornment.
