“A Daily Dance” is a 36x36 inch oil painting on linen canvas. It depicts tangled flowers and brush moving in shifting light, and evokes a feeling of wonder at the amazing things happening all around us when we pay attention.

Part of the Unknown Flora Collection, a series of paintings exploring the mercurial and mysterious side of flowers. From zealous bursts to moody reflections, these flowers are untamed expressions of the wildness of the natural world.

The paintings are abstract and gestural, with an emphasis on mark-making. Throughout the series, parts of linen canvas are left untouched to highlight the texture and materiality of the work.
