Frog #35, Print

Frog #35, Print
Frog #35 uses delicate, muted colors to depict a small frog swimming through a muddy pond, with light shining through the water.
This work was created as part of a 100 Day Project to draw or paint a frog each day. The project was initially inspired by a Mark Twain quote, “Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.” While I don’t like the idea of eating frogs, the frog motif inspired me to focus daily on the things that mattered to me that I had been avoiding. They helped me gather some courage and make a little leap each day.
Maybe these frogs will give you the same reminder. Read more about the frog project and view all 100 frogs here.
